Lead With Character is a non-profit Christian ministry that serves as a resource to the local church in encouraging Christian men to be faithful in their Biblical roles and responsibilities.

 

The primary activity of the organization is conducting teaching trips to Civil War battlefields and using these as a backdrop to teach men and boys. Many men come alone or with a friend, but we encourage fathers to consider bringing your sons. Instruction and challenges are delivered to them at their level each day.

 

A Christian man is called to lead - in the home, in the Church, and often elsewhere. The challenge facing the Christian Church today is often rooted in the fact that men are either ignorant of or negligent in their duties as men. These trips are conducted to encourage them in their Biblical responsibilities to lead, protect, provide for and teach their families. Today, many Christian boys are not being systematically prepared for manhood. Tools and encouragement are given to the men to help them teach boys proactively. The boys are challenged to view themselves as "Future Men" who will someday step into leadership roles in the Christian family, the Church and the culture. The men are exhorted to lead these young men by example.
